PEMC Industrial Solutions Event Series - Discover what Electron Microscopy could do for your business

Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre (PEMC) are relaunching their Industrial Solutions events for 2018/19 – and we invite industrial partners old and new to join us to discover what Electron Microscopy could do for your business. Our series of Industrial Solutions events will take place on the main University campus and are supported by Innovate UK, UKRI, ZEISS, the University’s own Research & Innovation team, and funded by ERDF.

This series of free events will be held in the context of the Government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and the HOTSW LEP priority areas, and will feature companies who have already used our range of instruments to develop a new product, or simply to gain a better understanding of the materials or processes they use. Each event will focus on a particular sector so as to make your experience as relevant and useful as possible:

    • 15 November 2018: celebration of the Plymouth Materials Characterisation Project (PMCP) to date; featuring SW Metal Finishing Ltd and Ramer Ltd which have both used the enhanced (including 3D) capability of the new FIB-SEM). Innovate UK will also be there to update delegates on the latest funding opportunities for business.
