• Special Notice: Portal Created for Horizon 2020, Euratom Research and FP7 Projects

As negotiations on the future of UK participation in the current EU R&D programme Horizon 2020, its successor Horizon Europe and future programmes continue, the draft Withdrawal Agreement envisages that existing projects including Horizon 2020 will continue to receive EU funding for the lifetime of the project and continue to bid for projects.

However, if an agreement cannot be made, the government has committed to underwrite funding for all successful UK bids for EU programmes including Horizon 2020 submitted before the UK’s departure from the EU, for the lifetime of the projects, even if they are notified of their success after exit. This applies whether a deal has been made or there is no deal.

To inform current UK recipients of Horizon 2020 funding of the next steps, a portal has been created for recipients to provide data about their projects. It can also be used for UK participants in a Euratom Research and Training project or an ongoing Framework Programme 7 (FP7) project.

The portal can be found HERE and will remain open after the UK’s departure from the EU for participants to continue submitting their information.

We encourage all manufacturers who have received funding from these programmes to submit their information to the portal.
